Back to Basics

Well, this has been a bad summer for my Sims.  First, I was going through a "omg, I'm so bored with my current game" so I backed up everything and started afresh, with a double Legacy in a custom neighborhood, only to have the family become glitched. 

Then, I had some problems with the server for my website and had to switch hosts with a new domain name.  Lost my entire Sims blog, of over 3 years worth of content. 

Then I go away on vacation and come home to find that while I was gone, my computer was struck by lightning.

And just in time for the new expansion pack... which means, ugh, I'm sooo miserable right now. 

In a fit of boredom the other day, I installed just the base game on my computer and started a new Legacy family... with no CC or expansions.
